Andrés Iniesta Luján is a central midfielder for the Spanish national team and the current captain of Barcelona.

His youth career started in Albacete 1994-96 and La Masia, Barcelona’s youth academy 1996-2001. Since 2002 he is playing for the first team of Barcelona and from season 2004-05 since now he is a key player for his team. Andrés is known as the most decorated footballer of all-time for Spanish football by achieving trophies in the most prestigious competitions in Europe and the world.

Andrés Iniesta is a complete footballer as Vicente del Bosque describes him. He is excellent in the attack by creating chances and scoring goals and he is also superb in the defence. Iniesta prefers to dribble, to play short passes and likes to do layoffs. He is very strong on the passing, the through balls, the holding of the ball. He creates a lot of chances in the attack and keeps his concentration during the whole match.
